About the Image Watermark tool

The Image Watermark tool runs entirely in your browser. Enter the watermark text, pick a position from a 9-cell grid (top/middle/bottom × left/center/right), set the font size, choose a color, and adjust opacity from 0% (invisible) to 100% (solid). Click Apply to bake the watermark into the image. The watermark is drawn using ctx.fillText with globalAlpha for opacity and the appropriate textAlign/textBaseline for the chosen position. Nothing is uploaded; all processing is local.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add multiple watermarks? Yes. Each Apply bakes the watermark into the canvas, so successive applies stack. Change the text or position between clicks to layer them.

How is the position calculated? The image is divided into a 3×3 grid. The text anchor is placed at the corresponding cell, with a small padding from the edge so the watermark stays visible.

What is the output format? The download is a PNG file, preserving detail without compression artifacts.

Does this tool upload my images? No. All processing happens locally in your browser.
